Chalk up another healthcare system and state for Cologuard.

Exact Sciences announced Wednesday that Kentucky-based Norton Healthcare is offering the colorectal cancer screen test to its patients.

“Norton Healthcare’s adoption of Cologuard provides access to an important new screening tool for colorectal cancer to a population that may otherwise never get screened,” Exact Sciences President, CEO and Chairman Kevin Conroy said in a statement. “We look forward to working with the healthcare providers at Norton toward a future where colorectal cancer is survived more often.”

According to a release, Norton Healthcare is the Louisville area’s third largest private employer and provides care at more than 140 locations throughout Greater Louisville and Southern Indiana.
