Fitchburg Mayor Shawn Pfaff announced today he is opening his own government and media relations agency on Nov. 1 called Pfaff Public Affairs.

“I look forward to working with clients and advocating for their interests with elected and agency officials and community leaders,” Pfaff said in a statement. “I am excited to begin this new adventure.”

Pfaff spent the past seven years at Capitol Consultants, Inc., focusing primarily on agriculture, business, education and medical assistance issues. He is registered lobbyist in Wisconsin.
