Flux announced recently that its Flux EM1 electric moped, launched last year as part of the company’s Pulse Hyperlocal program, is now in its third generation.
“The Flux EM1 makes sense for short distance trips because it is fun to ride, hassle-free and easy to park,” Flux CEO Matt Brueggeman said in a statement. “Our clients have found that if they can take surface roads and their travel radius is less than seven miles, the Flux EM1 is the perfect balance of range, charge time and speed for commuting or getting around town.”
According to a release, Flux conducted “thousands of interviews” over the past few years and has now built a marketing strategy centered on the Flux EM1, which tops out at 38 mph, reaches up to 50 miles per charge, charges in three hours and retails for $2,275.
As previously reported, Pulse Hyperlocal was created in March 2017 to fill the gap in short distance transportation.
