The Food Finance Institute (FFI) announced recently that its Wisconsin FaBcap Accelerator has changed into a national Fellows Program.
“Through our new model, in one year, we will touch more businesses than in the last five years combined,” FFI Interim Director Sarah Larson said in a statement. “That means more businesses primed to excel, raise money and contribute to their local economies and communities. That’s a testament to the expertise and training we have built at FFI over the last eight years.”
The online and in-person program lasts 6-8 months and offers coaching, a financial management boot camp and introductions to investors. The first of four cohorts of 15 began in January.
Participants include businesses in Madison such as Bonnie’s Balls as well as businesses from New York and California.
Applications for the program are accepted online.
