Four local businesses will receive an SBIR Advance grant, the Center for Technology Commercialization and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation announced recently.
The local recipients for Phase I are Cellular Logistics (Sun Prairie) and ImgGyd (Middleton). Meanwhile, the Phase II recipients are AIQ Solutions (Madison) and Stem Pharm (Madison).
As previously reported, SBIR Advance matches grants up to $75,000 for Phase I and $100,000 for Phase II. The program provides assistance to companies in the process of completing a project in the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
