After starting an office in Minneapolis/St. Paul, gener8tor has launched gBETA Medtech, the twin cities’ first medical technology accelerator, the company announced recently.
According to a release, the first six companies began March 22 and are working with physicians, researchers, angel investors, venture capitalists and industry experts to develop their respective business models.
gBETA Medtech, which has no fees and takes no equity, is funded by Boston Scientific in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota.
The next cohort will begin July 12, with applications open until June 22.
