Startup accelerator gener8tor has gained another financial partner.
BrightStar Wisconsin Foundation announced Wednesday that it will invest $50,000 in each startup that goes through the gener8tor program and meets the non-profit organization’s main investment criteria of creating high-quality jobs in Wisconsin.
“BrightStar’s partnership enables gener8tor to attract and retain the region’s most promising new companies,” Joe Kirgues, gener8tor co-founder, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to partner with BrightStar as we continue our shared mission of improving our community through job and wealth creation.”
Last year, gener8tor announced a partnership with Angels on the Water, which invested $100,000 in the companies participating in the 2013 winter class.
