As gener8tor introduced its winter class of 2013 at its launch day event Thursday night at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery, it also hammered home its message to the more than 300 in attendance that the startup accelerator was committed to creating an entrepreneurial community in Wisconsin.
“We’re trying to build an ecosystem,” Co-Founder Joel Abraham said. “It’s not just one-and-done.”
For example, gener8tor staff will continue to provide mentorship to the founders of Quietyme, Scanlytics, WeMontage, DineInTime, MoveIn and Zero Locus, as they do with the 13 companies that have already gone through the program.
In addition, startups in the program will now have access to even more capital through gener8tor’s recently announced partnership with Angels on the Water, an angel investment fund.
Thus proof that gener8tor is doing everything it can to ensure the success of its companies, which in turn create jobs and moreover, a community.

As a participant in the gener8tor program, I have to say they are an amazing resource for Wisconsin and its entrepreneurs.
