Gener8tor was named Venture Capital Firm of the Year by the International Trade Council during the annual Go Global Awards gala held last month in Tallinn, Estonia, the organization announced recently.

“We are honored to accept this distinguished global award recognizing the gener8tor team’s tireless efforts to remove barriers and drive business growth for entrepreneurs across the world,” gener8tor Co-Founders Joe Kirgues and Troy Vosseller said in a statement. “Innovation is happening everywhere, driven by the motivated and talented creators we have the pleasure of working with each day.”

According to a release, the Go Global Award winners went through a three-tiered review/selection process that included a pre-screening and a presentation to independent members of the Go Global Awards Committee.

The awards celebrate organizations that drive the global economy through innovations, technologies and strategies.

More than 8,000 entrants applied for the recognition.
