The Wisconsin Technical College System and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation announced recently they’re celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week with statewide events, including some in Madison, Nov. 17-23.

According to the event page, the WTCS is looking to highlight its colleges’ efforts to advance entrepreneurship and small business development across sectors and the state. Meanwhile, the WEDC announced it will “honor the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare across the globe.”

Local events include the Doyenne Group’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Wednesday at the American Family Insurance DreamBank and the Wisconsin Entrepreneurship Showcase Wednesday at UW-Madison’s Gordon Dining and Event Center.
