Goods Unite Us, an app and website that provide consumers with information about the political leanings of more than 4,000 brands and companies, has raised $500,000 in a funding round, the company announced today.
“At GUU, our mission is transparency and protecting the democratic process,” Goods Unite Us CEO Abigail Wuest said in a statement.
According to a release, the money will be used to add features and continue to acquire new users. The app and website currently boast more than 200,000 monthly active users.
The round was led by MaSa Partners, Mark Bakken, Humble Rogue Ventures and several accredited angel investors.
