The Wisconsin Technology Council named the 25 finalists of the 16th annual Wisconsin Governor Business Plan Contest, the organization announced recently.
“These finalists are emblematic of Wisconsin’s vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem,” Wisconsin Technology Council Chairman Greg Lynch said in a statement. “Few contests can blend together industries as varied as life sciences, advanced manufacturing, consumer products and IT.”
Eleven Madison-area companies advanced, including UCHardChip and Blexx Technology.
“The Diligent Dozen” will be picked in late May and will present their plan in front of a panel of judges and conference attendees at the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference June 4 at Venue 42 in Milwaukee.
NovoMoto won last year’s contest.
