HealthMyne announced this week it will work with Moffitt Cancer Center on research and product evaluation, with the goal of implementing an imaging analytics software platform.
No terms were released about the agreement, which will initially focus on thoracic oncology.
“We are very excited to reach this important milestone with Moffitt,” HealthMyne CEO Praveen Sinha said in a statement. “Their investigators are global leaders in oncology research and care and are pioneering the exciting new field of radiomics.”
According to a release, the agreement includes a structured, mineable repository of de-identified tumor descriptors that will allow investigators to evaluate samples for imaging biomarkers.
Moffitt, a full-service hospital, is the only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center based in the state of Florida.
