HealthMyne announced this week it will work with UW Hospitals & Clinics on a second phase of imaging informatics solution development.

According to a release, this phase will target cancer patients and focus on advancing radiological workflow and clinical analysis.

“We have a great shared vision with the UW regarding how imaging analytics and patient data integration can be made most useful for radiologists and their referring clinicians,” HealthMyne CEO Praveen Sinha said in a statement. “There are lots of big data opportunities available, but we are zeroing in on those that add both operational efficiency and true clinical value.”

HealthMyne’s first phase focused on the creation of a clinical imaging repository.
