Madison-based HealthX Ventures announced today that is has invested in HealthiPASS, a digital check-in and patient payments platform that optimizes patient collections for ambulatory care providers.

According to a release, HealthiPASS caught the attention of the digital healthcare-focused venture capital fund after it completed a Series A round in late 2015. 

HealthiPASS uses iPad-based patient check-in kiosks, smartphone apps and web apps to help patients pay all expenses associated with patient billing and collections. Medical groups can deliver patients complete price transparency into the cost of care before, during or after service.
