Ideawake, a developer of software that helps employers streamline the process of capturing, prioritizing, and taking action on ideas from employees, announced recently that it raised $1 million in a round led by HealthX Ventures.
“We see Ideawake as a natural fit for the HealthX portfolio given our mission to invest in companies that accelerate Healthcare innovation,” HealthX Managing Partner Mark Bakken said in a statement. “Employees at larger health systems have great ideas since they are the ones closest to the patient, which Ideawake can help.”
According to a release, Ideawake will use the funds to accelerate its expansion into healthcare.
Ideawake, based in Milwaukee, was founded in 2013 by Coby Skonord and Trae Tessmann.
