HealthX Ventures has invested in Orbita, a provider of conversational AI-powered voice and chatbot solutions for healthcare located in Boston, the company announced today.

According to a release, HealthX Ventures co-led the $9 million venture fund round, which was part of the company’s Series A.

“The Orbita team quickly recognized how to apply their existing technology to deliver highly relevant solutions to the COVID-19 front-line response,” HealthX Ventures Partner Taha Jangda said in a statement. “In addition to their rapid turnaround with the COVID-19 chatbot, they have made tremendous strides expanding into the life sciences market. We are very pleased to continue supporting their progress.”

Orbita’s voice and chatbot platform is used by healthcare, life sciences and medical technology companies to improve patient care and clinical efficiency.
