The Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce is hosting a touring group of international entrepreneurs in an effort to associate Madison with innovation on a global scale.
The Pop Up Agency began making stops around Madison earlier this week to evaluate the city’s needs. The team of six begin working today and will present their work to the Chamber staff on Friday.
“The Pop Up Agency is a team with varied skills, an entrepreneurial spirit and an innovative style,” Zach Brandon, president of the Chamber, said in a statement. “Their current worldwide tour, international background and project concept allows for a unique perspective on the Chamber’s goal of making Greater Madison a global hub for innovation.”
The agency, whose founders come from Sweden, Spain and the Netherlands, is visiting 15 cities in 15 weeks on its world tour. Stops include Shanghai, New York City and London.
Host cities are responsible for air transportation, lodging, work space and meals.
