Internship On Demand, which helps improves outcomes for students and companies by bridging the gap between college and careers, has raised $60,000 in its pre-seed friends and family funding round, the company announced recently.
“Access to meaningful, professional experience can be a game-changer for a college student,” Internship On Demand CEO Keegan Moldenhauer said in a statement. “This raise will allow us to continue making a difference for students.”
According to a release, the company will use the funds to begin the development of its custom learning management system platform and to expand its internship offerings from primarily engineering roles to a broader range of industries, including IT and more.
Internship on Demand took second place in last year’s Elevator Pitch Olympics during the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium.
