Less than a year after releasing Ionic 1.0.0, Ionic, formerly known as Drifty, today announced the release of Ionic 2 Beta.
“We took everything we learned from building Ionic 1 and made significant improvements to the way Ionic apps look, how they perform and their ability to adapt to future technology shifts,” Ionic Co-Creator Adam Bradley said in a blog post.
According to the post, features of Ionic 2 include performance boosts, architectural improvements, cross-platform theming, support for Angular 2 and support for the mobile web.
The mobile hub for building and scaling appsĀ also released an update to its docs.
