The Wisconsin Technology Council announced today that Jan Eddy will receive the 2016 Excellence in Entrepreneurial Education award at the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium, taking place Nov. 16-17 at the Monona Terrace.
According to a release, the “Triple E” award was established to highlight the importance of entrepreneurial education.
“It’s hard to imagine someone who has done more to teach entrepreneurs in Wisconsin than Jan Eddy,” Tech Council President Tom Sill said in a statement.
Eddy founded Office Solutions and Wingra Software and has served on numerous boards, including the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship and Edgewood College. The Prairie du Sac, Wis., native is also a co-founder of the Doyenne Group and was an early member of the Madison Entrepreneur Resource, Learning and Innovation Network (MERLIN).
Previous award winners were Tim Keane and Thomas Mackie.
