The Wisconsin Technology Council announced recently that it will honor Kevin Conroy with the 17th annual Ken Hendricks Memorial “Seize the Day” award during the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference taking place June 4.

According to a release, the “Seize the Day” award celebrates entrepreneurial leaders who have been crucial to Wisconsin’s economic growth. Conroy is the chairman and CEO of Exact Sciences, which creates Cologuard, a non-invasive alternative to conventional colorectal cancer screening.

The biotech company is also providing COVID-19 testing supplies through its converted lab space.

Sue Marks of Cielo won the award in 2019.
