Lucigen announced recently it has partnered with Illumina to be the sole distributor of the entire Epicentre Technologies product line.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The product line is comprised of genomics kits, enzymes and ancillary reagents.

““Illumina shares our commitment to serve scientists worldwide with high quality products that enable scientific breakthroughs,” Lucigen CEO Ralph Kauten said in a statement. “Providing a single-vendor solution gives life science professionals easy and seamless access to these products.”

Illumina is a genomics company based in San Diego.

In February, Lucigen landed a $323,000 SBIR grant from the National Institutes of Mental Health (NIMH).
