MadHacks is now taking applications for its MadHacks Heartbleed hackathon, taking place on the University of Wisconsin campus Oct. 7-8, the organization announced recently.
According to the website, participants will have 12 hours to build a hack that focuses on electronic medical devices. The event includes tech talks, team challenges, games and activities.
Teams of up to four members and individuals are encouraged to participate. The projects will then be judged by other hackers.
Applicants must be 18 and olderĀ and attending school. Applications can be foundĀ online.
