Madison ranks No. 19 in WalletHub’s newest report that ranks the best large cities to start a business, released earlier this week.

The report ranks cities based on 20 key indicators of startup viability. Madison’s ranking includes:

– First for financing accessibility
– Sixth for the percentage of residents who are fully vaccinated
– Seventh for the share of college-educated population
– 10th for industry variety
– 14th for office-space affordability

Other nearby cities ranked on the list included Indianapolis (48), Minneapolis (53) and Milwaukee (72).
