Madison Startup Week, in conjunction with Wisconsin Startup Week, will take place Nov. 6-12 at various organizations around the city, organizers announced recently.
According to a release, entrepreneurs, investors, local leaders and major companies can attend more than 10 events across the greater Madison area put on by the Doyenne Group, Madison Women in Tech and 1 Million Cups, among others.
“Madison has a thriving entrepreneurial community, rich in diversity and innovative ideas, which are highlighted throughout events and happenings all year round,” Madison Startup Week Co-organizer Heather Wentler said in a statement. “Wisconsin Startup Week is another way to highlight and showcase the entrepreneurs across our state, as well as within Madison, who are making change happen and moving our economy forward.”
Many events are free, with some having a small fee.
Other cities hosting events include La Crosse and Beloit.
