Madisonium, self-described as a group of individuals that collaborate on ideas to improve the tech and web industries in Madison, is holding elections today through March 4 for its nine, one-year board positions.
Notables among the 23 candidates include Dave Cieslewicz, former mayor of Madison; Zach Brandon, president of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce; and Scott Resnick, alder of District 8 and vice president of Hardin Design & Development.
Voting is conducted online and limited to “those active in the tech or web industry in Madison,” according to the election page.
The board will help guide Madisonium’s projects, one of which is to push forward the idea of developing the near-east side into a web district.
