Madworks Coworking at UW Campus is taking applications for its fall accelerator program, the organization recently announced.

Applications are due by Sept. 19 for its second round of classes that will run for 10 weeks, starting Sept. 30 at 1401 University Ave.

According to the website, the program will offer entrepreneurs up to $4,000 in grant funding. The teams will learn how to boost their knowledge of marketplace needs and the practicality of their product using lean startup methods.

Those who complete the accelerator program will know how to refine their pitch, establish mentors and meet potential investors, according to organizers.

Eleven startups took part in the inaugural program, which concluded in August.
