Madworks Coworking has selected the startups for its spring accelerator program that began Feb. 2, the organization announced recently.
“This cohort is a strong one, with some rather sophisticated companies,” Louis Condon, interim communications manager of the accelerator, said. “We always try to adjust our program to them, but rather than changing structure, that usually means bringing in guests to give more targeted, tailored and sophisticated advice and experiences.”
Five startups are from Madison– Chō Chō, Field59, Footsy LLC,Kudu Labs and Yoozon, with BoothCentral and Snapifeye originating from Milwaukee and MogaMind splitting its time between Chicago and Madison.
Similar to past classes, the program will run for 10 weeks, and participants will be surrounded by Madworks’ staff and mentors and receive training and financing up to $10,000. At the conclusion of the program, the startups will be introduced to potential investors.
