Wisconsin businesses owned by minorities, women and service-disabled veterans can submit their nomination for the 2015 Marketplace Governor’s Award, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation announced today. Nominations will be open until Thursday, July 30.
According to a release, small and large businesses will be honored in two categories, “The Outstanding Business Award” and “The Rising Star Award.” The first recognizes established businesses that have demonstrated the capacity to grow over the past five years and have plans for continued expansion in the future. The second honors businesses established after 2011 that have demonstrated strong growth potential.
The winners will be honored Oct. 29-30 at Marketplace 2015, the Governor’s Conference on Minority Business Development, in Milwaukee.
