Silicon Valley, here we come.

Polco won the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce’s Pressure Chamber pitch contest Tuesday at the Monona Terrace and earned an all-expenses paid trip to meet potential investors on the west coast.

Using its online voting platform, Polco helps municipalities improve accuracy on public engagement. It just announced a deal with Dane County.

AkitaBox, Lynx Biosciences, Manifestly and Rigbot were the other participants. Polco also won a Wisconsin Innovation Award and the IT category in the Governor’s Business Plan Contest.

Four judges represented half the voting weight, and the other half came from the audience.

BluDiagnostics won last year’s contest.
