Applications are now being accepted for this year’s Pressure Chamber competition, which takes place Aug. 16 at the Overture Center as part of Forward Festival, the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce announced today.
“Since its beginning four years ago, Pressure Chamber has provided an impactful platform for dozens of growing companies to tell their story and connect with new opportunities,” Chamber Vice President Kevin Little said in a statement. “We look forward to another year showcasing the very best of Greater Madison’s startup scene.”
According to a release, applicants must be a member of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce or support entrepreneurial partner organizations Capital Entrepreneurs and/or the Doyenne Group; be located in Dane County or plan to locate by Aug. 16; and have raised at least $25,000, excluding personal investment by company founders.
The winning company receives an all-expenses-paid trip to San Francisco in October for meetings with top Silicon Valley investment firms, plus in-kind prizes.
DotCom Therapy won the event last year.
Applications are due by 5 p.m., Monday, July 9.
