The Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce today announced the five finalists for its annual Pressure Chamber pitch contest, to be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 23 at the Monona Terrace during Forward Festival.

The Madison-based finalists are AkitaBox, Lynx Biosciences, Manifestly, POLCO and Rigbot. The winner of the competition will receive a trip to Palo Alto, Calif.,in October for meetings with top Silicon Valley investment firms.

“This year’s Pressure Chamber finalists are a diverse and exciting group of companies,” Chamber President Zach Brandon said in a statement. “Their work and their innovations are a reflection of some of the big problems being solved in our community, and they show how well-positioned Greater Madison is for success in the Third Wave of the economy.”
