Christina Greene’s Prima Nail Spa & Salon won the seventh annual Madison College Challenge held May 3 at Madison College’s Truax Campus.
Seven judges awarded Green $5,000 for winning the three-round challenge, which began in the fall.
As previously reported, the business plan competition is open to students enrolled at Madison College in at least one credit or non-credit course during the 2017-18 or 2018-19 school years.
Madison College also announced that Camille Simmons, creator of the “Stink Sack” and student at Monona Grove High School, was the winner of the 2019 Madison College Pitch, earning $500.
The pitch competition lets area high school students create and submit a video to explain their business idea, then pitch the idea to a panel of judges for prizes.
