Propeller Health and the Cleveland Clinic have partnered on a COPD study, the company announced today.
According to a release, research using Propeller’s platform shows that digital medicines reduced hospital visits for COPD patients.
In a study of 39 patients that were provided with electronic monitoring devices and rescue inhalers over the course of a year, hospital trips decreased from 3.4 to 2.2 compared to the year prior to enrollment.
The research was published last month in the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare.
