Rebate Bus announced today that it raised $500,000 from the Winnebago Seed Fund.
According to a release, the funds will be used to grow the staff in Wisconsin and to advance its technology.
“Between their commitment to Wisconsin-based entrepreneurs and their enthusiasm for technology-driven startups, the Winnebago Seed Fund is an ideal partner for Rebate Bus as we deepen our data analytics toolset and scale our company into more distributors and retailers,” Rebate Bus CEO Joe Pater said in a statement. “We are excited to have partners that align with our vision and can help us grow as a powerful resource to our customers and as an employer in Wisconsin.”
The investment is the Winnebago Seed Fund’s sixth. The fund, which is based in Neenah, Wis., has the Badger Fund of Funds as its anchor investor.
Rebate Bus provides the energy efficiency industry with a comprehensive utility rebate dataset, available via API.
