The Everest Group, a consulting and research firm, named Redox to its recently published Top 25 Healthcare Startups of 2016.

According to a release, 200 healthcare startups were narrowed down to the best five in each of five categories. Redox joined CareCloud, Flatiron, Health Catalyst and PracticeFusion in the category of Electronic Health Records.

“The healthcare market, particularly in the United States, suffers from issues of cost, access and quality,” Everest Group Practice Director Abhishek Singh said in a statement. “Stakeholders are trying to tackle those issues with technology solutions, which makes healthcare a fertile field for startups with fresh approaches, disruptive technologies and sufficient sources of startup funding.”

Criteria for the rankings included technology disruption, business disruption and market buzz. The other categories were Care Financing, Care Management, Practice Management and Telehealth.
