Redox will partner with CommonWell Health Alliance to build new APIs to expand the services of its network and increase value for patients and caregivers, the company recently announced.
According to a blog post, CommonWell’s product will allow developers to use Redox’s engine to convert CCDs without involvement from the source system, support API access to CommonWell services over Redox’s Engine and will provide direct-to-provider exchange.
“I’ve been bullish on CommonWell since we joined last spring,” Redox Co-Founder Niko Skievaski said in a blog post. “My optimism stems from the inherent collaboration of its organization, and its approach to interoperability is a direct reflection of its members.”
CommonWell services are being used by almost 9,800 provider sites. Cerner and RelayHealth also committed to expanding provider access to the CommonWell network.
