The Center for Technology Commercialization (CTC) is now accepting applications from small businesses for its SBIR Advance grant, the organization announced recently.
According to a release, SBIR Advance matches up to $100,000 in funding to provide additional assistance to companies in the process of completing a project in the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
“We are looking forward to the next round of SBIR Advance with deadlines in October,” SBIR Advance Program Manager Todd Strother said in a statement. “This program continues to assist in the success of Wisconsin’s technology companies who have been funded through the Federal SBIR programs.”
To be eligible, an applicant company must have an SBIR/STTR project in either Phase I or Phase II of funding, have a significant presence in Wisconsin and be registered within the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions.
Applications are due by noon Oct. 17, and applicants who are chosen will be notified by early November.
