The Center for Technology Commercialization (CTC) is now accepting applications from small businesses for the next round of its SBIR Advance grant, the organization announced recently.
“We are looking forward to the 17th round of both Phase I and Phase II programming,” CTC Senior Technology Consultant and SBIR Advance Program Manager Todd Strother said in a statement. “This is a great opportunity for SBIR grant winners to tap into the state matching funds for business and commercialization activities.”
According to a release, SBIR Advance matches up to $100,000 in funding to provide additional assistance to companies in the process of completing a project in the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
To be eligible, companies wanting to apply must be based in Wisconsin, have an SBIR/STTR project in either Phase I or Phase II of funding and complete the “Intent to Apply” form by Jan. 4, 2021.
