The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), University Research Park and BioForward announced today that they are teaming up to award scholarships for the 2014 BIO International Convention, held June 23-26 in San Diego.
The scholarship provides access to the BIO One-on-One Partnering System. Based on the BIO registration fees for various packages, the access is valued between $800-$1,200.
“One of WEDC’s key objectives is to provide Wisconsin companies with opportunities to grow their businesses,” Reed Hall, secretary and CEO of WEDC, said in a statement. “This scholarship program will likely open additional doors for companies in Wisconsin’s vibrant biotechnology industry.”
Scholarship winners are required to contribute a 25 percent match, which may come in the form of travel and lodging.
Applications are found on BioForward’s website. The deadline to apply is March 17.
