A team from Sector67 launched its Apollo67 high-altitude balloon for the third time on Saturday, with the goal of testing a Chipkit and an APRS (Automatic Packet Reporting System) module, which would help with tracking.
From the launch site of UW-Platteville, Apollo67 traveled about 2.5 hours to a site northeast of Lake Mills. According to the team, “It was in surprisingly good shape, though the nose had taken a beating and separated.”
