SHINE Medical Technologies added former House Speaker Paul Ryan to its board of directors, the company announced recently.
“Paul is a visionary with a wealth of experience and an expansive network that are welcome additions to SHINE’s board,” SHINE CEO Greg Piefer said in a statement. “Paul will provide critical guidance to SHINE as we expand into domestic and international markets that require deep mastery of global policy, economics and leadership.”
According to a release, Ryan has nearly three decades of experience with national and international healthcare, business, energy and other issues. The 54th speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives was born and raised in Janesville, where the medical isotope production facility is being built.
Ryan joins seven other directors on SHINE’s board.
