SHINE Medical Technologies announced recently that former Aquamost CEO Todd Asmuth has been named president and will focus on investor and customer relations.
“SHINE has an amazing opportunity in front of it,” Asmuth said. “I was asked to join the company on a full-time basis to really drive investor and customer relations. When you hit milestones, you need people with different skill sets. I have a lot of history with dealing with large corporations from a customer and a funding standpoint.”
Asmuth will report to CEO Greg Piefer.
SHINE is in the process of obtaining its regulatory permit to build and operate a plant to produce medical isotope molybdenum-99.
According to a release, Asmuth served on the SHINE board of directors for two years. He was named CEO of Aquamost in 2010.
