Wisconsin startups RoWheels, The Good Jobs, Art Commission, Regenerative Medical Solutions, C-Motive Technologies and Intuitive Biosciences earned Qualified New Business Venture tax credits, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation announced today.
According to the WEDC, Qualified New Business Venture status makes investors in the company eligible for a 25 percent tax credit on the amount they invest in the business. In theory, growth and job creation should be accelerated for these companies.
As previously reported, 50 early-stage companies in Wisconsin leveraged more than $44 million in outside investment last year thanks to the program.
