It’s been quite the year for SnowShoe CEO Claus Moberg. Among the highlights, he was part of the team that won the TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon, he became a father and now his company has been accepted into the latest class for TechStars Boulder, the organization announced today.
“We are extremely excited to be taking part in TechStars this summer,” Moberg said. “We still have a lot to learn, though, and we know that TechStars will help us push our company forward.”
All five SnowShoe employees will be participating in the May 13-Aug. 19 program, which provides startups with a small amount of funding, direct mentorship from successful entrepreneurs and access to a world-wide network of alumni and supporters.
More specifically for Moberg, he’s hoping to gain “connections to a nationwide network of early stage tech firms and refinement of our pricing model and strategy.”
SnowShoe is the first Madison startup to join TechStars Boulders, and the fifth overall in a TechStars program. The incubator was started in Boulder in 2006 and also has locations in New York City, Boston, San Antonio, Seattle, Chicago and London.
