Simple but tedious tasks on your smartphone can now be done with the touch of a button–or more specifically, a stamp.
SnowShoe today unveiled Stamp Rocket, which allows users to automate tasks such as texting, emailing or calling by touching the stamp to the screen.
“Every iPhone user knows that you tend to do the same sequences of things on your phone almost every day,” Claus Moberg, CEO of SnowShoe, said in a statement. “Now you can program maps, music, mail and more to be activated in sequence with a single click of this little device.”
Each Stamp Rocket can be programmed to accomplish a specific task or series of tasks. According to SnowShoe, an open API and SDK also is available for developers wanting to build functionality that goes beyond that offered in the Stamp Rocket app.
SnowShoe is currently offering a Stamp Rocket starter pack until March 31 that includes five stamps for $5. Starting April 1, the price of the starter packs increases to $25. The Stamp Rocket app is free and only available for iOS devices.
There should be a way to do different tasks just by holding the stamp in one of four orientations. With this it seems like you have to carry multiple stamps.
