Organizers of Madison’s Spring Tech Kickoff announced recently that this year’s event will take place 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at the Centre Seven building, 7 N. Pinckney St.

Participants of the event, which is in its sixth year, will enjoy food, drinks, networking and music.

This year, participants are encouraged to make a $25 contribution to Foodworks, which trains people who face barriers to culinary training to work in professional kitchens in Madison’s food scene.

The Spring Tech Kickoff, which is sponsored by Capital Entrepreneurs, Horizon Coworking and Forward Festival, is free but attendees are required to register online.
