StartingBlock Madison announced recently that Dr. Nhi Le has been named the new entrepreneur-in-residence. Her first day was Nov. 1.
“StartingBlock is the entrepreneurial hub for the greater Madison area, so this role is a perfect platform for me to be able to continue to learn more about our rich ecosystem and strengthen the collaboration between the different partners,” Le said.
Le’s responsibilities include providing free mentorship, providing business development and strategy and making connections for members and the community in the pre-revenue/idea through growth/series B stages.
She currently serves as an accelerator associate for the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. Previously, she was the director of gBETA Madison and gener8tor Minnesota.
“This StartingBlock EIR position provides an opportunity for me to continue to expand the network and strengthen the relationships that I’ve made at gener8tor and will continue to make at WARF,” Le said. “This international reach will also allow Madison entrepreneurs to tap into a larger pool of knowledge and resources than what we physically are afforded here so we can continue to be competitive and in the forefront of innovation.”
Le, who replaces Scott Resnick, has a one-year, extendable term.
