StartingBlock Madison hired Scott Mosley as its next Executive Director, the organization announced recently.

Prior to StartingBlock, Mosley was the Chief Operating Officer of CODAworx where he supported revenue expansion by expanding the company’s flagship event series and launching a marketplace for art that sells works from some nation’s premier public artists. Prior to CODAworx, Mosley served as the Director of Investments for The Water Council.

“Scott is the right person at the right time for StartingBlock Madison,” StartingBlock Madison Board Co-chair Mark Richardson said in a statement. “There are significant opportunities in the post-Covid-lockdown environment to accelerate entrepreneurial momentum and support the scaling of high-growth startups in Madison and across Wisconsin.”

According to a release, Mosley’s strong experience building companies and organizations, along with his ability to attract funds to support entrepreneurs, will help to propel StartingBlock Madison’s next stage of growth and guide the community’s stakeholders.

Mosley was chosen through a national search.
